· Spot Types allows you to reserve avails for specific types of Spots, such as Commercials, Underwriting, Promos, some paid PSA’s, etc.,your choice. When setting up breaks, you’ll decide what types of avails to use. And when setting up a Spot, you’ll indicate its type and those breaks will be automatically presented for scheduling.
· The Program List is your list of program titles and shorter items that go into breaks, like "Station ID" and "Weather". When building your program schedule, you will draw from this list.
· Client Types is your list of the types of businesses your Clients are in (auto dealer, restaurant, bank, etc.) This information is used by the Spot scheduler to avoid placing competing Spots in the same break.
· The Tracks window allows you to build groups of breaks for quick Spot scheduling. For Tracks defined by a time range (e. g., AM Drive Time) use the Track Scheduler.
· The Record Log is your list of instructions to the board operator, scheduled as to time and day, which will print in the Log. Use these entries for anything you want, from satellite recordings to when to lock the door or check the news wire.
· The Preferences window provides you many options for getting RadioWorks to do it your way.
· Salespersons’ names are stored in the Salespeople window.
· Station information is stored in the Stations window.
· Specials Sch gives you the tools to pre-empt regular programming with special programming, with its own breaks. You may move the scheduled spots from the regular programming to the special, if you like.
· Track Sch brings some automation to the creation of Tracks. Just specific the spot type and the time range and RadioWorks will build the Track instantly. Whenever you add or change breaks in the Program Scheduler, the affected breaks will automatically be updated.
· Day Parts allows you to setup up to nine standard day parts for use in the new Day Part Scheduler. The Day Parts may be edited in the Spot screen for the Spot being scheduled.
